Frequently Asked Questions About Orders
Q: Is there a web site where I can see all of the pictures taken of the event?
A: No photos are posted online. Doing so would create a flood of personal privacy issues. Besides, I can’t image you would want to wade through 22,000 photos just to find the 100 or so with your family in them. Each family receives their own unique set of proofs either via mail or email.
Q: Is it possible to only purchase a few prints without a collection?
A:Yes. Á la carte print and portrait pricing details are included with your photo proofs. Any additional prints purchased with a collection receive a substantial discount.
Q: What will the inside of the album look like?
A: See below…
The Keepsake Album
8x8 in size, with photos presented one per page as shown for a total of twenty-four photos. The first page features introduction stationery customized with the Debutante's name. Pages are rigid with the edges gilded in gold and the cover includes the inscription as shown in the photos below.
The Signature Album
8x8 in size, with photos presented one per page as shown for a total of thirty-six photos. The first page features introduction stationery customized with the Debutante's name. Pages are rigid with the edges gilded in gold and the cover can be customized with the Debutante's monogram as shown in the photos below.
The Heirloom Album
This 10x10 album is completely custom designed to showcase up to seventy-five of your favorite images from the weekend. Pages are rigid with edges gilded in gold. Each page can contain more than one image to create a one of a kind presentation.
Q: I love more than 75 photos that I want in an album what are my options?
A: We can further customize the heirloom collection to include more pages. The pricing would change to reflect the number of additional pages added and would require a custom quote based on your needs.
Q: Is it possible to physically remove photos from the album or add some into the album at a later time?
A: Your album is custom printed and bound just for you. The photos in our albums are integrated into the page for a beautiful presentation that will last for many years. Gone are the days of prints being slipped into shiny plastic sleeves or underneath matts. (professional quality album companies don't make that style anymore) Because of this custom construction, images cannot be removed or added.
Q: Will the photos be touched up?
A: Yes! We want your memories to look their best. Each image selected for your album or loose prints goes through a series of touchups and enhancements to address color balance, shine on skin, blemishes, certain background distractions like wrinkles in the formal backgrounds at Marriott, or those awful lamp posts on the background of Meymandi. Those things are included for each image printed. What we can’t do is remove tan lines, make arms or anything else slimmer, “take twenty years off”, remove the heads in the foreground of the low angle stage shots or the chairs out of the high angle stage shots, or remove people from the background of party photos.
Below are a few examples:
Q: I saw that a "digital image" included in some collections and on the a la carte options. What is that used for?
A: Families often use this for their holiday cards, to print and share with friends, or to share on their social media accounts.
Q: If I choose a digital file, how will I receive it?
A: After I have retouched and fully enhanced your image, you'll receive an email containing a link that will allow you to download the requested image.
Q: I want all of my photos in digital format, is that possible?
A: Yes indeed! We have created an image box that includes a 4x6 print of all of the proofs in your catalog, plus a USB with a digital copy of all the images in your proof catalog.
Q: Can I call and give my order over the phone?
A: I've found that can lead to some issues. Better to use the super easy web form. No money is transacted on the form, so no risk of any nefarious hacking shenanigans.
Q: I have a question that is not covered here, who do I call?
A: Call James directly at 919-601-2386
